Body scan meditation (Bhuddanet)

We’ve previously talked about scanning your body to find out what it wants you to know. In this Body scan meditation, you will be taken on a guided journey to explore your body.

It easy to say that you will scan your body, but how often will you actually do it? Having this beautiful voice guide you through your body will be a welcome treat.

Today I had been rushing around ‘doing’ things and came home exhausted. Grabbing 20 minutes to scan my body made me realise which parts were aching or tingling without me realising.

Grab your journal and pen, find somewhere comfortable to sit to or lie, take a few deep breaths, open your mind and enjoy. When the meditation ends put pen to paper.
